Scheduling & Timing

  • How do I get a quote for shipping my vehicle?

You can request a free quote online using the quote form or call us at (813) 488-0970 to speak with a Transport Specialist. To give you the most accurate estimate, we’ll ask for your pickup and delivery locations, vehicle make and model, any modifications, and your ideal shipping dates.

  • Is the quote free and no obligation?

Yes! All quotes from Graham Family Auto Transport are 100% free and no-obligation. Requesting a quote does not lock you into service — it simply helps you understand your options and pricing.

  • What information do I need to get an accurate quote?

To provide the most accurate quote, we need your vehicle’s make and model, pickup and delivery locations, whether the vehicle runs, and your ideal transport timeframe.

  • When should I schedule my vehicle shipment?

We recommend scheduling 2–3 weeks in advance when possible. This gives us time to secure the best carrier and pricing, though expedited options may be available if you’re on a tight timeline.

  • How long does it take to ship a vehicle?

Transit time depends on distance and route. Shorter regional moves may take a few days, while coast-to-coast shipments typically take 7–10 days once the vehicle is picked up.

  • Can I choose specific pickup and delivery dates?

We work hard to accommodate preferred dates, though exact pickup times depend on carrier availability and route logistics. Our team keeps you informed every step of the way..

Pickup & Delivery

  • Can I ship my vehicle if it doesn’t run?

Yes. Non-running vehicles can be shipped using carriers equipped with winches or lift gates. Please let us know ahead of time so we can arrange the proper equipment.

  • Can I ship a modified or oversized vehicle?

Absolutely. Lifted trucks, wide vehicles, and modified cars can be shipped, but they may require specialized carriers and additional planning. Sharing accurate dimensions helps avoid delays.

  • Can I leave personal items in my vehicle during transport?

You may place up to 100 pounds of personal items below the window line. Please note that personal belongings are not covered by carrier insurance.

  • Can I ship my vehicle if it has low ground clearance?

Yes. We work with experienced carriers nationwide and can ship vehicles with low ground clearance.

However, vehicles with less than 4 inches of clearance may require an enclosed trailer with a lift gate. This can result in additional fees compared to open transport.

Please let us know your vehicle’s exact clearance so we can recommend the right carrier and provide an accurate quote.

  • Do I need to be present at pickup and delivery?

Yes, either you or a designated adult (18+) must be present to hand over and receive the vehicle, provide keys, and sign the inspection reports.

  • How is my vehicle protected during transport?

All carriers in our network are fully insured. Your vehicle is inspected at pickup and delivery to document its condition, giving you peace of mind throughout transport.

  • How is the cost of shipping my vehicle calculated?

Pricing is based on distance, vehicle size and condition, transport type, time of year, and current market conditions. Each quote is customized for your specific shipment.
